The Institute of Physics Belgrade (IPB) was founded in 1961 by the government of the Republic of Serbia with a mission to conduct high quality research in the area of physics. At present it contributes more than 10% of the total scientific output of the country.

IPB contributes to agricultural data interoperability by providing grid computing resources and hosting the agINFRA REST API in the context of the EC-cofunded agINFRA project.
