Facilitated by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Agricultural Science and Technology Indicators (ASTI) is a comprehensive and trusted source of information on agricultural research and development (R&D) statistics. ASTI compiles, analyzes, and publicizes data on institutional developments, investments, and capacity trends in agricultural R&D in low- and middle-income countries worldwide.

ASTI has published a broad set of country briefs and regional synthesis reports that describe general human and financial capacity trends in agricultural R&D at national, regional; and global levels, while at the same time providing comparative data on agricultural R&D performance across countries and regions.
