Source agency: Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
Designation: National Statistics
Language: English
Alternative title: BHS

This publication is designed to provide comprehensive statistics on the production and value of horticultural
crops grown in the United Kingdom. The tables in most cases provide 30 years of data for each of the main
sectors of the industry which are fruit, vegetables and ornamentals crops.

The below footnotes have been put together as an explanation of any changes in the data that have been made.
Over the years some of the ways we collect our crops data have changed and some crops have been combined with other items. In these cases, the historic data has been merged to fit in with the new categories.
